Passive House, Active Space
Ballhalla is a private facility designed to engage and augment both physical and cerebral activities. Its flexible spaces support a variety of uses, including basketball, batting practice, dance, rock climbing, weight lifting, study, research, and virtual and old-school gaming. Its form, assemblies, systems, and details are integrated and balanced to achieve an energy performance approaching the Passive House criteria for the harsh climate of Massachusetts.
